Suncoast Humane Society
Sponsors an Open House and Adoption Event

The Suncoast Humane Society held an open house for pet adoptions on Saturday,
and was offering everyone the opportunity to bring their
own pet in for a visit to have them be photographed with Santa.

Santa (aka Jerry Johnson) and his wife Nancy were there to pose with the pets... and the owners

The photo's are taken digitally, downloaded into a computer,
and burned to a photo CD and handed to the customer in just a few minutes

Outside, there's a dating service going on that helps people to find new friends for their existing pets.
Sort of like a speed dating service, different pets are matched up and allowed to play together for
a few minutes to see how they get along.

Tanner is ready to go home with his new owner.

I didn't know it... but it seems that some dogs come with a warning label

Susanna Harrison has been a volunteer at the Humane Society since 2003,
and says she just loves being with the animals as often as she can.  Here she poses with
"Tanner"  who was just adopted by Englewood resident Martin Frazier.

Stop by the Suncoast Humane Society on San Casa Dr. and adopt a new best friend...
"It could make a great Christmas present for some little kid !

Or you can just volunteer to help them by being a pet walker.
