And this is Dizzy... (the bird) on the shoulder
of Pam Brown who told me this is a Quaker Parrot
aka Monk Parrot that is about 5 years old and
will live to be 35. I told her it looked like the same
green parrots that I see at my bird feeder from
time to time, and I learned that many of them were
accidentally released into the wild. You
may see and hear them in flocks of 10 - 20 all over Florida.
