I've created this new FEATURES page to show off a few of the local businesses
that I've had the pleasure of photographing to give you a virtual tour of their businesses.
 Some are new... some are old... but all in the Englewood neighborhood.
All three of these featured businesses are located on Dearborn Street.  Enjoy.

American Pie Ice Cream
A very new & nostalgic ice cream parlor !

Counter help is plentiful and pretty.

The walls are decorated with memorabilia from as far back as the 30's and 40's

Generous seating, a stage for live entertainment, home-made pies, and even a TV playing old movies.

Blind Images

Blind Images is located in The Emporium... a little mini mall right in the center of Dearborn Street.
Jeanne' Cadman has loved to paint since she was 13.  But then she was diagnosed with
retinitis pigmentosa, a hereditary eye disease which ultimately causes total & permanent blindness.

Despite this burden, Jeanne' has continued throughout her life indulging her creative expressions.
Jeanne' now runs this small shop at The Emporium where she sells her tropical scenes
and local wildlife art as well as a wide variety of exotic puppets and other nature oriented gifts
such as custom carpets which are made from these original designs.
