The Rod Price Benefit

The purpose of the benefit was to help raise some money to help pay
Rod's medical bills,
so they had prize raffles & 50/50 drawings all night long.
Special thanks go out to all the local businesses
for their equipment,
donations and prizes to help with this event,
and to private donations from family and friends.

A big storm came through from the east and slowed the party down a bit,
but everyone was safe and dry under the big pavilion roof, so I just
walked around
and took pictures of anyone that would cooperate...

and a few that wouldn't.

After the storm passed, I ventured outside the pavilion and found this
cute couple
under the awning by the Kix Country van...

And I found the Kix Country Duo hiding inside their van - and asked
why their big antenna was down... Seems Bob's not real keen on
lightning.

Meanwhile, once the plugs were dry... the party got started again.
Bob entertained the crowd while Joanne from Cricket Karaoke
got everything plugged back in... Bob played the guitar with
a friend and then
ventured off into the crowd to sing with his wireless mic.
