The Rod Price Benefit

A karaoke benefit was held for Rod Price (Rod Sleasman)
at Rotonda Park on Saturday, June 26th starting at about 5 pm.
Kix Country 92.9 was there to help promote the benefit with a live broadcast
starting at 6 pm, since Rod was the 2003 winner of the Kix Country
Idol Contest
but is now strickened with throat cancer. (of all things)

When Rod arrived, he was instantly greeted with hand shakes and hugs
from all his family, friends and fans.

friends from all over joined in to sing karaoke.

Rod then took the microphone and thanked everyone for their support
